Reduces sediment, rust, algae, chemicals, bad taste & odours and bacteria.  Rated 0.9 micron Absolute (0.5 micron Nominal), this 3 Stage high efficiency ceramic candle filter removes >99.9% of bacteria, parasitic cyst and particles:

Stage I Outer Shell – micro filtration to 0.9 micron absolute

Stage II Silver Impregnated Ceramic Media – Anti-bacterial formula to inhibit microbiological growth

Stage III GAC Core – Granular Activated Carbon core takes out Chlorine and Organics while improving taste and odour

These Doulton candles will replace many other urn type bench top water filters including Stefani, Terra Cotta, Southern Cross, Pozzani, Waterco, Stoneware, Aquaramic, Vitali, Altantis, Australis etc…

Recommended life of 6 months or 2000 litres depending on water quality.

Outside of candle can be scrubbed clean with a Scotch Brite pad to achieve maximum life.
